Summary
As a Wait Staff Manager at Marriott, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of wait staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure wait staff possess the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service.
- Schedule wait staff to ensure optimal staffing levels and meet guest needs.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including table management, seating arrangements, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the menu and beverage selections to answer guest questions confidently.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service and order accuracy.
- Generate and track sales reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Proficiency in restaurant point-of-sale systems.
Experience
