Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and results-oriented Managerial Accountant to join our growing team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial accounting process for a specific area within the Bank. You will ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and provide insightful analysis to support informed business decisions. You will also play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire accounting cycle for a designated area, including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and fixed assets.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide valuable insights to support business strategies.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Work collaboratively with other departments, such as Finance, Operations, and Risk Management, to provide financial information and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role within the banking or financial services industry (experience for freshers can be negotiated).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in accounting software like SAP or Oracle Financials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
