Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Lead and mentor a team of department heads, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Oversee all aspects of the guest experience, from check-in to check-out, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding expectations
- Manage day-to-day operations, including housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new guests and drive business growth
- Ensure strict adherence to Marriott brand standards and operating procedures
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost controls
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and retention
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
- Represent the hotel in the local community and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably with a recognized hotel brand
- Proven track record of success in achieving revenue and profitability goals
- Strong operational expertise across all departments of a hotel
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with guests, employees, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in hospitality software and systems
